Hey guys I know I'm not very active anymore on the forum but I am active buying and I recently acquired a Luftwaffe grouping from a vets son. I am certain I am keeping the tailfin swastika and dataplate. But I've had a wide range of offers on the Kg12 control. I know that complete ones like this are exceedingly rare. I am willing to bet more so than Himmler SS daggers or even Röhm daggers. But valuation is difficult. You price it wrong and sell it. Its gone you know. I'm 95% sure I'll never see another one. I hope this question doesn't violate forum rules because I really need some guidance from not just people that are trying to buy it from me.. Thanks everyone, regards Adam

One sold just recently over in the UK for about $1200. You really want to keep the grouping together, as it's historic as a set.

Thanks JR. I got it figured out finally. Its a complete stuka control. I was offer between $2800 and $3500 for just the stick. The bf109's and fw190's run around the range you posted without the linkage part.

Adam,
Sounds to me, you were offered very good money.
Thanks,
Bob

Well you've got something very special there Adam. If I were you I'd keep it...but that's just me speaking as a Luftwaffe collector. I've got different Luftwaffe things but I never had a control stick or airplane piece. Actually it never came up in my mind to go look for these items on the net.

Again, keep it brother! These are nice pieces of history!

Gruss,

Gerry

What about a reasonable mark-up on what you offered for it? Funny how things acquire different values isn't it? :-)
