Any help/info (recognized personalities, event, or translation) would be great.
Is that a WWI MG in front of the black suited speaker?
I noticed a few names in the text and am trying to figure this out as much as possible.
Thanks

The black suited speaker is the well known Julius Stricher.

That is the 1934 parade in Nuremberg.

Go to youtube and type in "Adolf Hitler Nazi Parade 1934" and watch it !

Thanks for the responses.

The written names on reverse that I could possibly make out were Streicher and Ritter von Schobert.
I didn't see a strong resemblence(from googled photo's)of Streicher to the black suited man. Glad someone could confirm it's him.
I also would of guessed the photo/card was maybe from the 35 rally based on the date written on the reverse. Good to hear other points of veiw. I did watch the 34 RPT youtube video.

Would the 7/11/35 be refering to July 11 (before 1935 rally and Nurnberg law intro) or November 7 (after 1935 rally and after Nurnberg laws were introduced at the 35 rally)?

If November, I did find a reference close to the date (if 11 is refering to November)on reverse of photocard:

"In a speech on 4 October 1935 (the month following the proclamation of the Nurnberg Decrees) Streicher made a speech which is reported in the Voelkischer Beobachter and is entitled in that newspaper "Safeguard of German Blood and German Honor." The report in that article reads in part:

Gauleiter Streicher speaks at a German Labor Front mass demonstration for the Nurnberg laws"

Again thanks for the help.

As Europeans use day/month/year, I would go with November.

That Youtube clip I mentioned is only half the parade. search and you'll find the other half. Together they are very interesting as ALL the political formations marched by. The SS was last. The photo sure looks like it was from 1934.

here is a small translation.
7 November 35
the catholic army pastor LANG, speaks in front of the altar. The cross is to the left of the image. Flags and Standarten in front of the cross.
The head of julius streicher is in front of the right standarte. Far left under the flag, the protestant pastor WUNDERER.
Right in front,General Ritter von Schobert

Regards,
Gerd

Great.Thanks Kreta.

Knowing there is a religous element involved may help out significantly. At least it's another clue.
Tying that new info with the possible date yeild this off a quick search off wikpedia-

Streicher later claimed that he was only "indirectly responsible" for passage of the anti-Jewish Nuremberg Laws of 1935, and that he felt slighted because he was not directly consulted.

Streicher was ordered to take part in the establishment of the Institute for the Study and Elimination of Jewish Influence on German Church Life, that was to be organized together with the German Christians, the Ministry of Public Enlightenment and Propaganda, the Reich Ministry of Education and the Reich Ministry of the Churches.

Another possibility to think about. Thanks again for the responses.
