Went to a local 150 table show and saw this early! Took a few pics as I had no clue what it was!

Hi Paul,
What you have is a Russian Forestry dagger. I am on my way out the door so I can not find it right now, but this would be a Tsarist era Foresters dagger (official issue). But, I do not know which iteration. It does look original but these are reproduced.
If the Russians were buying this would go for over $2,000 NOt that you asked.

There is a model 1876, but I believe yours is a model 1904 for the "forest-warden corps.
Can you give us a close up of the blade or describe the etch?

Jim
Thanks for the info! I took some pics real fast and have no more!
Guy had it and was not sure he would sell and later he did!
I am sure price was real good for buyer!
Thats how it goes!
It has the Jerry lewis look! Just didn't know what it was or value!
But thought I would grab a few pics for members!
Thanks for looking!
