Another "Bring Back Box" has been donated to us to use as a fundraiser. The sender's address is "1422 AAF Base Unit, Europe, A.T.C". Does anyone have any idea of where in Europe this Base Unit was located?

A gentleman on another forum informed me that the 1422nd ATC became the 1422nd ATG, attached to the 9th AAF at Rhein-Main Air Base. Germany after May '45. They later participated in the Berlin Air Lift. So to me it is logical that this box was used to ship home some war trophies of some type. I wish I got it when it was full. I will be putting this up for sale soon.
