New find ,as per reference books the one and only sword maker "Tiger" produced a Leopard head with a raised eagle on the crossguard - it is a beauty.

I believe that Tiger was either a distributor or bought their parts from other makers. I have seen this same hilt on more then one manufacture of swords. One in particular is WMW Waffen who used this hilt in silver on their early SS swords.

Doubt very much that "TIGER" was a distributor as there factory in Solingen,Germany produced a large number of various daggers - possibly they were happy in the production of daggers and left the swords to the rest of the blade producers.

Yep, I think "TIGER" was a trade name for Lauterjung & Co. (aka) Tiger Stahlwaren und Waffenfabrik.

Yes, Lauterjung & Sohn (Nathaniel) were also Puma. All in the same Blanke Waffen family along with Carl and Wilhelm. There were also Gebruder Lauterjung that included Hugo and Friedrich.
A large and prolific family.

Thank y'all! I must make a correction. I pulled out my swords and realized the WMW/Max Weyersberg silver panther head SS swords are totally different. Old age! On the other hand I know I've seen the same hilt as the Tiger sword on more then just that maker.

Another maker was "Paul Seilheimer" who used this pattern -
