Hi, I'm looking to purchase a 1933 ss dagger sold by http://www.spandaumilitariashop.com/numbered-1933-patt-ss-dagger/ I have put a deposit down on the dagger but unsure of its authenticity as the web is awash with warnings about fakes and this one looks to be a good a deal ! the dealer is selling it on behalf of a client, but before I go any further I would appreciate your valued opinion and any insight into the stamps.
The only pictures I have at present are available on the sellers web site.

Kind regards

Hi Mark personally i would very wary of this dealer as there is some very dubious items on his site, no one sells a boxed 4yr SS service medal for 100

Thank you everyone for your responses, I now have a few alarm bells ringing
Gerd can I ask why you don't think further pictures are needed ? Do you think that the dagger is a fake ?

Yes fake and you should always be weary of a site that sells SS daggers for 895 and 4 year SS for 100
If you are looking for an authentic SS dagger try these dealers they are great and will help you along the way.

I agree that the dagger on that site is no good!

I always buy from Paul at lakesidetrader... he's very reliable and, most important of all, he's honest!

Once again my thanks to all who responded to my enquiry, it's very reassuring there are genuine people who offer good solid advice on what could have been a costly mistake on my part. Thank you for giving me details on trusted dealers and to Kreta for explaining the reasons for it being a fake. Take care everyone and have a happy new year.
