Thought I'd post this and see what some of you guys think.
It's not mint and has blade slightly sharpened blade. Not quite new like it was done yesterday.

I know the pictures aren't the best, I took them with my phone. ( till I get a new camera)
I do know it's not a paint type fill. A little tough to get the the details with a shiny blade.

Ok, I'll come clean. I know it wasn't done yesterday, how about a week ago. I couldn't give you guys to many hints without giving it away. I thought it might be fun to show how things might be done to deceive. I have seen gold filled names and such on jeweler done blades, and wondered how it was done or at times real. And I know the pics ******** but it don't look to bad in hand.
I was on a job site and they were doing gold leaf, One of the guys gave me a little of what I needed to see if I could get it to work. It was a very small area to work with and a tedious task to try and never done before. With practice and a good full stamp I could maybe get it to look good?
BTW, just an old blade I had, no harm no foul

You can also buy a gold colored marking stick to color in these markings in the same manner as using a white china marker to highlight markings on blued firearms.
