Well said . It's been awhile since I've seen one, but some of the older Indian reproductions of 19th century EM swords were comparatively close copies of originals. Not perfect, but with artificial aging harder to tell that it was a repro. With the officer types easier to tell that it's modern if you've seen/handled an original. But as was mentioned, I've every so often seen repro's that with some "aging" have fooled quite a few guys including collectors who did not have enough of a hands on background. Caveat Emptor! Fred
