UBB.threads Forums Edged Weapons Welcome - New Collectors Start Here "Lost" Threads

A few members have commented that the forums are "losing" threads again. This is not correct. The forums have always been set to list the threads "active in the last year". Members could change this at the bottom of each forum to display as many threads as they wanted to see. The search function also defaulted to search only the threads from the last 5 years and only show the first 200 search results. Again, this could be changed by the members. Since these restrictions seem to confuse some members, I have changed the defaults. Forums will now show all of the threads for that forum, and the search limits have been removed. Please be especially careful when typing in your search terms. A broad range search will return a lot of hits and may take a considerable amount of time to run

bet they are talking about the Tony Barto / Bill Stump/Casino/ Boyle age old posts!! Now if you could bring those back!?, that would be something..

Vern and I have talked about it several times. I don't think it will happen, even as a read-only site. The software of today won't support 10 year old stuff.
