Hi,
I've just find a nice stag grip knife with these mark on blade:
HORNUNG BIRKELFELD & a H with crown.
I think about a german imperial knife but I've not find this maker anywhere. Birkenfeld is a town in germany.
Have you another HORNUNG marked blade?
Thanks a lot.

Did look into all my references but could not find anything about HORNUNG or BIRKELFELD. I was also unsucessful concerning the mm H with crown. Are you sure that it is BIRKELFELD and not BIRKENFELD? Please show a pic of the mark, perhaps you did read something incorrect. Regards,

Definately an Imperial piece, I've not seen another with this marking before, whatever it is a nice knife.
