Looks nice in the photo's ,branch Gen.Goring Reg.with white piping. If good a desirable type.

I need to see better picture of the green underside of the visor. It looks pebbled not crossed as should be. Also better interior sweatband shot. I believe this is a repro erel.

I am guessing by photo's that is a good repo Erel visor to Herman Goering Regiment they are real rare and it is faked a lot so I'd be cautious they make some good copies of it in Europe I agree with post most all originals are unit marked inside. timothy

It purports to be a NCOs' visor hat for the Hermann Goering Rgt/Brigade/Division but there are at least seven tell-tale signs which reveal it as a reproduction. MP

I'd have to agree that Erel mark is typical of repos especially the small trianglur paper tag it is missing the tabs at the end which was on originals there are some good makers of these in Germany sold by Reddick Militaria etc no one really knows the source of them some think Janke the most famous of German repo visor makers and still makes them today all rare Herman Goering visors I have seen have a unit stamped under the sweat band. timothy
