Here is an interesting pistol given to me by a friend. Harrington & Richardson "The American", First Model, 3rd variation, 6 shot 32 S&W Long (black powder), S/N 1295 (1898). Nothing special here except the condition, near mint. Unusual for a cheap 116 yr. old pistol.

You're right. They're fairly common, but I don't remember seeing one in this nice of condition.
