Hm, a numbering - usually used on awarded items.
Is the numbering engraved and the contentmark stamped in?

I think a very interesting ring - i have never seen this pattern till now.
Maybe a semi official awarded ring in this unit? Maybe similar to the wellknown Edelweiß-Ring?
Lets wait on Gs opinion.
The buildings on the shoulders look to me like russian ones - very Close to this ring of the Transportbrigade "Speer" i have.

the ring was made with blank spaces on sides. The dates were hand stamped in after you bought the ring,,not cast in... I have a really nice one. But having camera problems.. I'll try and get a shot on.
The last example shown sure looks like a fake..

sorry, this is from my wifes Kindle  I'll get better photos!!! Mine is in worn condition,,,but even in woen condition you can see the clean details it had when new,,,also the stamped in dates. Mine is stamped 835 in band.. I'll work on the better photos.............

But for me was interesting how often met in it rings date of years and number ?
Mine ring - fist in topic , yeh too many worn but it has interesting dates...
And for me interesting is it fist time or may be someone met like mine ?

The ring in good condition has very good detail.. Mine is heavy worn condition..
The sides are blank... The dates are hand stamped in!

I take it to be the years he was in the unit.
The rings were made blank.. The dates should be stamped in or engraved in. If they are cast in, part of the ring it is a fake..
