You will get better feedback if you post perpendicular shots. Best taken on a bright but overcast day.

Hi Dave. This dagger has been buffed so not much crossgrain to see. I'd just like to encourage people to take some more imaginative photos of their daggers rather than the focus always being solely on the details of the dagger. Just a thought. Hope people like the pics.

Cheers Mac. I love the positivity on this site! These daggers are beautiful historic objects connected with an ideology which revered the land. It's sometime nice to see something more than the small details which obsess the collectors.

Yea that was the first thing I noticed right away. I thought for a type 2 they should have a different taper.
