Vern,

Since you posted your Belgian made Hi Power I thought I would post one that I picked up at SOS.

This is also a postwar FN made Browning Hi Power that was used by the German Police. This pistol was made in 1952 and is all matching including the two magazines and the German Police holster. The postwar German Police do not seem to have property marked these pistols except in a couple of known instances. I know of only two of these pistols generically marked to the Bavarian Police but clearly this is a police pistol because of the matching s/n Polizei holster that makes up the rig.

Thanks for the kudos gents. This Polizei rig was on my want list for awhile. The condition is exceptional and I am certain it was kept in that way by the hard shell holster.

Nice example George. I have managed to keep mine over the years. It is in the 62xxx range with numbered holster too. I don't even want to mention when I got it at the OGCA, but I think it was shortly after the news of the Nixon tapes broke.

Thanks Joe. As you know, I have been looking for a nice example of this particular postwar German Police pistol for some time.
