Hello, I happened across these steins at a antique shop a few weeks ago. The Artillery has a few issues but for the price I could live with them. 1- the fuse ring is missing (If anyone knows where I could find one I'd appreciate it) 2-There's a chip in the bottom. Also a experienced collector thought that the porcelain base may be a replacement. As for the Calvary it's in excellent condition. All opinions appreciated.
Best Regards, Karl S.

Well, I like them a lot.....I know but little about these things other than they are very nice to collect and are true works of art. This website once had a seperate forum for steins. It was never very busy, but it was nice. Like so many other things the change was a bit for the worse. Perhaps if Roland, the old Steinmeister is still around he can give you an opinion.
Magna res est vocis et silentii temperamentum.

Thanks Mike, Andy from www.militarynut.comsent me a nice message today, he likes them also. My wife and I came across them in a antique shop and I was fortunate to get them both for $550.I was well pleased.
