If anybody recognises any of these I'd be happy to hear your thoughts, who used them and an approx value if you know.

Regards

Gary

Mostly Saxon style knots. The ones with green and white colors and oval profiles were worn by NCOs and Beamte. The round ones by Officers and Beamte (depending upon rank). Foresters also wore knots of this color combination and style but the distinctive flat acorn shape is Saxon. I typically buy these around $45 each if that helps.

Hi Billy

I have so many knots that I just do not know what they were for, earlier in my collecting life I used to pick up anything that had green in it hoping it was a forestry knot or a hunting knot, I've had these hanging around forever, if anybody is interested in any of these then just let me know and we can work something out.

Gary
