THESE 2 SWORDS WERE PART OF A LARGE GROUP OF JAPANESE SWORD AND OTHER STUFF I BOUGHT FROM A WIFE OF THE VET THAT BROUGHT THEM BACK. HE DIED 20 YEARS AGO AND THE STUFF JUST SAT IN THEIR BASEMENT UNTOUCHED FOR 20 YEARS. THE LADY USED THE INTERNET TO FIND THE VALUE OF THE STUFF. SHE WAS TOUGH BUT WE FINALLY AGREED ON A PRICE AND I BOUGHT IT ALL. 22 SWORDS AND A BUNCH OF OTHER STUFF. SOLD IT ALL ON EBAY EXCEPT FOR THESE TWO. THEY ARE BOTH SIGNED AND ONE IS 271/2. I AM GOING TO TACK THEM TO A SHINSA IN TAMPA,IF THEY ARE GOOD I WILL HAVE THEM POLISHED. THIS WILL BE A FIRST FOR ME. ANY ADVICE OR COMMENTS ARE WELCOME. THANKS PAUL

I highly recommend getting a second opinion from these guys before throwing more money into your swords. http://www.nihontomessageboard.com/

Paul,
Bring them to the SOS. I can put you in touch with a guy who can identify and rate them for you. Let's see some close-ups of the fittings.
