This one I believe is a early version of the NSDAP Leaders armband. An unspecified system of bands was used as a form of rank. These bands of braid varied in number and width. The more bands the higher the rank. I can not comment on authenticity but would be sure you black light this one.
Finally the new system of armbands came in with new regulations in 1938. As with many things this took a while to be implemented. Wien was not annexed till Mar 1938.

IMO a repro because there would not be a stamp on a pre 1933 political armband....

kyles bullets is 100% correct. Reproduction all the way. Rondel is wrong material, thread sewing on stripe all wrong.SHOULD NOT BE WHITE THREAD!!!!.

Actually white thread was used. Here is one from the estate of the PL in Germany. White thread is used on the stripe.....
