hi guys
in my honest opinion this might be a field made ss soldiers grave marker or possibly home made trinket who knows . if its a real ss grave marker its been stolen at one time and sadly that any one would desecrate any military soldiers grave site . every time i see some one here in america or any where selling military grave markers especially a american ruptured duck grave marker i ask them politly to please not sell it and return it to its righfull place a military cemetary most people are nice about it and some are not happy with my telling them to do the right thing with it . bob k is haveing it checked out and i know if its a marker he will do the right thing with it hope we all agree here. best collecting in the new year andy militarynut

Well Military Nut, as I write you can buy these so called *ruptured duck grave markers on many sites for $25.00 to $49.00, anyone can buty those, as well as brass markerd for any service, any war. As for this piece, come on guys, you see ANY indication that this has ever been in the ground? I mean the bottom shouild be all dirt/water/mold and mildew from bring in the ground.Check out the runes. oh so very plain that the SS is of very new make.

And let me be a a&%ho&^ a little more. Trinket???? At this size??? If the IC is regulation size? The mass of this piece would be what? 100 pounds or so.But if not, then what size is this.
Jezzzzzzzzzzzzzzz, I told it like it is,, quit makimng gold out of pot metal

I'm told that it is 21 x 14-1/2 x 1-1/2 and very heavy. I won't be able to check it out further for another couple of weeks. I'm not saying weather it is real or not, but isn't it possible that it was cleaned and enhanced if it was real? I just don't know as I've never seen anything like it.

hi marksmilitary
yes i am aware of these brass ruptured ducks being sold to any one on these sites and elsewhere . i hope they only sell them to veterans or thier familys and not some greedy person who is not an american veteran or thinks he is a veteran just for his trophy room sorry thats wrong if this is the case. as far as the ss grave marker this appears to been power washed clean. who in thier right mind who collects third reich items would bid and buy this item in my personal opininion it has no value at all whether its real or made up sorry this is me hope every one agrees thanks andy militarynut
