Appears to be the mark for Erich Richard Schuler of Hamburg. Not uncommon to find on belts, holsters, and ammo pouches.

Thanks Vern, but I had in mind marking swastika in a circle and M in the circle, which, in addition to the belt shown, has been found on two marine lanterns

The marking is K.M.W. 24210 25\8 42

Here is the information regarding shipyard:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kriegsmarinewerft_Wilhelmshaven

Seller claims that this is an early Kriegsmarine marking which occurs in the period 1934-40g

But, the problem is that I have found only this Kriegsmarine marking :

Some twit being paid to post ads. The Swaz in a circle was used by the party to mark property, especially during 1933-36. Maybe an SA or HJ Marine item transferred from the Kriegsmarine? The Kriegsmarine didn't put the swaz on their daggers until 1938 wink

The swaz in a circle was in a gun book I have. It covered use on Lugers, K98s, and leather goods. I'll try to find it, but I have a fair sized library wink
