Do you think there is anything polished or something? Scabbard looks like, buut blade seems to be untouched. What do you think it is worth?

Around $3500 - $4000. you can`t go by dealer prices, the market is slow.

Jo78, It is a beautiful Teno hewer in a great condition and the blade seems untouched and all original, well worth $ 4000 in my opinion.

Polished??? There is the (during producing) artificially applied burnishing around the eagle and the pommel cog-wheel and also in certain recesses, for sure not polished. The scabbard fittings did come in this bright look. So, as far I can see from the pics, all is as it should be. Also to mention that the hanger is obviously one of the few original ones. Regards,
