Stunning find Rich...and sorry to reply at this time as the Hubbel telescope image setting on your camera finally gave me an afforded view after it took 2 days for the photos to finally open. Except for the small chip of wood missing on the upper part of the grip..the grip itself retains very sharp contour ridges..which is a huge plus!! when collecting these types. Interesting lower crossguard reminds me of a Pack guard with that "Straight across" look to it....regardless it fits the grip perfectly. There still is Woodwork out there!!...with dagger beauties like these inside them. Regards Larry

Now that is a hard to find condition for a full Röhm blade!
The SA-man must have never taken in out of the scabbard.
Congratulations with this find!

Gentleman,
Thank you for the kind words. Though I thought it was authentic, I admit I don't know these inscriptions that well. So I private messaged a few of our forum members that know these daggers inside and out. So right off the bat I'd like to thank the guys for their expertise, not sure I would have bid what I did without their blessing. It truly is an impressive dagger in hand. Thanks guys!!!

Looks right as rain, probably about as close to textbook as possible for this rare piece,no doubt would have went for 2x as much 5 years ago ,,, And might well be worth 2-3x in another 5 years, congrats.
