My friend just got this Spencer repeating rifle a few hrs ago!
He had gotton some lugers and just got this Indian War period Spencer repeating rifle circa 1860! From the numbers it places the period!
Even folks that don't know guns have heard of this rifle!

This Spencer rifle came from old lady that sold my buddy the lugers and rigs shown in other thread!PVON
Today he got a Remmington 1874 single shot Rolling Block rifle that I have not seen or took pics yet from same lady!
The NM means New Model on barrel!

Beautiful carbine. All Spencers bear the 1860 patent date however the New Models date from 1867-68.

Just found out that a Colt 1848 came out with a 3 didget number thats possible Wells Fargo related! 31 cal
And another Colt came too!
Luger Rig 1940 Series 42 and Broomhandle!

I do love the old ones,, When I was a kid a dealer I knew offered me one of his Civil War sharps for $200, but I wanted a Luger. I wish I had took him up on it. He always looked out for me and always gave me a good deal on my collecting hobby.
