Hi Ted.
How do you explain the crossguard?
I am sorry but it looks like one of the 1990 production that has been aged. I say this only because of the crossguard.

Jim no proof Ive tried to compare to right one Ive got it from honest dealer who bought it from Lww found under the wood floor. This in the middle which we talking about is from the family of the vet.Looking at the construction and handle looks fine to me.Construction of the whole dagger is the similar like the right one.Hard to say it but it doesnt look like repro.Just my opinion.Ted

I have no doubt that what you say is true. I have simply never seen this configuration on an original.

Here is a reproduction next to a Borowski. Note the fine detail of the fittings.

What is really different is the blade. on yours. the blade on mine is a copy of the Borowski style, where yours is quite different.

Look close to the band of fitting scabbard the repro has a small tubes very regular and rounded.I have seen all this types on repro. It looks like tube cuted and molded to the fitting ,in those 2 all are irregular and crude. These regular fittings on scabbard are the most popular sign of repro polish daggers. On all originall I have seen rounded or irregular.Just my opinion.Ted
