In the Moment i have this ring in Hands and can get it for not to much Money.
Brass, looks die struck (i can`t see any signs of casting), the enamel real doesn`t look good made, but ist for sure opaque enamel.
Please your opinions!
Knows anybody here exact this pattern?

nice... Well the swords appear to be the German type [Wound Badge] but the helmet reminds me of Swiss [?].
Construction, materials appear fine. Finnland made a lot of wartime rings, unit pins etc.
Come on guys dig,,someone has something on this...

But a swiss helmet? For me more like a stylized german helmet.
I think a ring worth to hold it.

Hey Odal,
I don't believe I've seen one like that, with crossed swords and helmet. Whether or not it's a German or Swiss helmet wouldn't matter much for me because it's a nice ring. I like it.

Oh I agree,,absolutely a ring to hold on to!
I only mention Swiss because I've seen a ring with a red cross on it and similar helmet and it was a Swiss border protection ring.
Could very well be German. And it certainly looks to be period. Something will turn up on this,,we must keep our eyes open!

I had this pattern before. For me a nice ring. The ringband is very worn, but is exactly the pattern, i've seen with enameled Lw rings.

Yes, the band pattern i know too. I have a similar luft ring as wolfs. But this rings aren�t as massive as this one. Their backsite is "hollow".

Their backsite is "hollow". Sorry friends, sorry Marc! I made a bad mistake. While thinking a Little on this ring, i took a similar luft ring from my collection for comparing. And yes, Marc is to 100 % right! Absolutely same rings - i would say the same manufacturer. Here some quick shots:

WOW, interesting ring...my Grandfather probably wore one of those! He certainly had his wounds, for sure! Twice severely wounded in battle, third time to never return... :-o
