hello collectors,
here my new dagger, an early Axt & Hauerfabrik with early hangers.
Slanted grip, brase base metal fittings on the dagger.
That is the second dagger with this marker i ever seen, the first show user "doug" from this forum.
I hope you like it,
best regards from Germany Oliver
PS: my slanted grip and early trademark collection

Very nice AXT yes they are very hard to come by – Love the slant collection! Tell us the makers of the daggers. I know Heers68 has a real nice AXT.

Oli, that is a real beauty of an Axt for sure!! Scabbard and fittings match up nicely with my example. I am with Tom in saying lets hear about the makers of your slants, great collection indeed! Congrats on the Axt and where did you find it? Kevin

@ Kevin, i find it on kpemig.de at the last update. Now i´m searching for a Carl Wüsthof army dagger, page 260 on the Wittmann-book.
left to right.
early Eickhorn, ACS Alcoso the first, a normally Eickhorn, Axt & Hauerfabrik, Plümacher ( have the same crossguard with the Axt & Hauerfabrik ), Eickhorn glasgrip, Tiger with the first Tiger trademark, Heller Ballonman,
Hörster with an early WKC crossguard? and an early Wingen and last but not least an early SMF with Aluminium fittigs.
best regards from old europe oliver
