saw this pic of Hitler and Mussoline in Berlin 1939...and it seems Hitler is wearing the same dagger as Musso
I never saw other pic's of Hitler while wearing a dagger...
maybe this one is a "one-time-only-thing" or does anybody has explanation or comment?
Hitler had some special for him made guns but he wasn't fond off those, he rather had is old and trusty normal weapon...so i wondered about the dagger...

Hitler receiving a dagger from Mussolini and being photographed with it is well know and there are many prints and post cards attesting to that.
I can not speak to the markings at the bottom left of the photo.

I read somewhere that this dagger was given to Hitler by Mussolini as a gift so he had to wear it when with him this day if I remember correctly.

Yes, Hitler is wearing an Italian dagger. I know of no photo depicting him wearing a German one.
