Hi Paul,
here is another,,,but it belonges to the british troops.
You can find it in some travel guides,eg Marco Polo and WIKI.
I've heard about on my first trip to crete in 1993.
Until June/August 1945,the german troops on the Greek island Crete,fought against the Communist-backed guerrilla forces, the National Liberation Front (EAM)...the british troops were also covered by german armored vehicles.
