I always liked the italion daggers and swords!

I was hoping some members could post theirs!

Hangers, chains, insignia, pins or anything to dress up display!

1935 MVSN dagger,Italion Facist dress dagger with service scabbard! 1937 MVSN hangers!

I will post some headgear to start it!

I know when ever I had Italion daggers with chain or leather hangers they sold fast!

Please post yours!

Jim

Here is an Italian PAI (Italian Police in Africa) NCO sword. After Italian forces were defeated in Africa the PAI was withdrawn to Italy and fought under their own name during the invasion until they were finally absorbed into the Italian home forces.

You are welcome. These Italian Colonial Police swords are few and far between. The NCO sword has a solid guard and the very similar Warrant Officer PAI sword has a two branch guard. The difficult thing on the NCO was finding the proper tasseled knot. I am still looking for the WA knot but it is simply the standard gold and blue knot that is worn on Italian daggers. One would think that this one would be easier to find?

Here is the PAI Warrant Officer sword. Also, a photo of it in wear by a PAI WA in Summer dress.

I particularly like the photo above. Quite a snappy dresser!

Here are are a couple of Italian uniforms from a display that I had a couple of years ago. On the torso is a Carabinieri Captain uniform while the blue uniform is a Municipal Police Sergeant Major.
