you would need better pictures to get a proper judgement. I would also recommend, if you are going to collect etched bayo's, purchasing Wayne Techets book on etched bayo's. It has very good section on how to spot fakes including this particular etch. It can be found here: http://www.vonryansexpress.com/Contact_us.htm

I believe its a good one,i have same but in damaged rusted condition, the Holler stamp looks ok to me.

Arlih go ahead and buy it. If you determine it is a fake you have learned from it...this lesson we have all learned will cost more than Wayne's book. Good luck!

Get the book before the bayonet, unless you can have the bayo for less than the book,it be your best investment! Pete

I dont have one to show I have had some repos they are a minefield almost as bad as Visors and daggers good advice to get Wayne Techet book on them and compare it to known holler etch might save you some money I and most of my collector friends like me (in their 60's) try to avoid them unless we know where they came from. Just my experience timothy
