I am completing a uniform display and need to tie my new NCO troddel to my heer short parade bayonet. Can someone post pictures of what the proper tie configuration looks like?

Here is the back of this standard tie for the Wehrmacht. The best way to do it is to form a loop at the bottom of the left side and work backword from there. The ball goes through the loop at the end and hangs down on the left side of the bayonet as you are viewing it.

George,

Is this a Feuerwehr bayonet & knot? I ask because it looks like there's a recurved crossguard there & a carmine accent to the knot's slide.

You are welcome.

The second one is a FW bayonet and knot Billy.
