Paul,

Glad to see Dave gave you a decoration for your continued efforts helping to add interest to the forums. Adding good quality photos helps promote enthusiasm in our hobby, no matter what the field of interest. It takes a lot of time and effort to share these visual treats, and is appreciated.

That is a nice, early Rudolstadt porcelain plate, super design to the old General-Feldmarschall's artwork. I've always enjoyed the patriotic and Kriegerverein decorations, many of them are of excellent manufacturing quality, especially when you can find them in mint condition. They're mostly still quite reasonably priced, even some of the good tinnies have surpassed them in value. I wonder why more people don't take much of an interest? There's lots of excellent reference material out there on the subject.

Please thank your buddy for me, he must have one heck of a tiptop imperial collection! wink

Best!

Bill
