Good to see a piece like this come out of the woodwork.
The hangers look silmilar to the Slovak Government officials hangers. In any case, much more rare than the dagger.

My Czech friends collector has the same dagger in this configuration form family of the Czech pilot before ww2. Other czech collectors has opinion that this type of hanger compare to protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia dagger.Czech called it Vladni Vojsko dagger.Anyway Ive seen this configuration second time in my collectong experience. It is interesting that no information about this hanger in the books. Here is picture of another dagger from Czech. And another with well known configuration .

Here are the traditional hangers for the Protectorate dagger. Noter only a slight difference with the buckles when compared to the traditional M1927 Czech Air Force hangers.

Actually Ted, I believe the Czechs and you. I have no doubt simmilar hangers were used on whatever dagger the individual was using.
I only posted for clarity for the readers, so they could see what is considered normal..
All these hangers are extremely rare and I have seen them go for $800 for the hangers.
Please thank your Czech friends for their input.
