Does anyopne have a Justice Department Dress Bayonet from a veteran source as descibed in the manufacturer's catalog?? I have been looking for an original for years..

Never have seen one except in reference books. For those who don't know about them they are described as
Justizbeamte-Seitengewehr//Judicial officer-bayonet
Description--Like the normal K98 bayonet, but having smooth wood grips retained by steel rivets. The came in short and long blades, with and without lug button and slot. Scabbards either painted or blued. In WKC book as item number 1062
Love to own one but would settle to just have one in my hands to examine. The only way that I would buy one is from a veteran. To easy to fake.

George Wheeler has one in his collection, I believe it's the one pictured in "Seitengewehr". I can't say as to the source though. I missed buying one by a day about 10 years ago, still kicking myself.
