I am not too knowledgeable on these, but it is certainly an eastern-bloc helmet. Russian? Polish? Czech?

1950's Russian helmet I believe , also used by all Commies a bit like the AK47 ( no offence to any Commies ) . Rob

Russian made for sure. The 3KO markings stand for the Russian Red October plant. Medium size and made in 1953
