I know not of any rarity scale Ryan but as you may expect they are not very common. In the last couple of years I have only seen a couple offered. Personally I like the colour of the chaplains waffenfarbe.

Thanks very much...do you consider them to be more rare than Smoke troops, propaganda or special field police? There are none presently available upon the market so no comparables there are examples of smoke troops, propaganda and field police on dealer sites at present....is $2500 a fair price for one in excellent condition? cheers and thanks, Ryan

In my opinion (& it is only that) I would think less common but likely less desirable for being being clergy. Probably something more appealing to a specialist collector. Having said that I did see a tunic that got sold very rapidly on WAF maybe a year ago but I can`t recall the price. No idea of the value because as you say there is nothing to make a comparison.

Thanks for that...I suppose it is somewhat more desireable to a type or collector of different piping..they are quite scarce...on par with Propaganda, smoke troops and feld gendarme more so I would think as there would most likely be no more than one or two per regiment...cheers
