Hello, It is a WWI double barrel German flaregun model AWW. Maker is Artilleriewerkstatten Wilhelmshaven.

It is usually marked on the Butt with maker code, year of manufacture, and serial number.

The other brass flare pistol is I assume, Australian, can you please give the date, maker and serial number for it, and the German Pistol.
