Hello, It is a WWI double barrel German flaregun model AWW. Maker is Artilleriewerkstatten Wilhelmshaven. It is usually marked on the Butt with maker code, year of manufacture, and serial number. If you like flareguns, Join the free Flare Gun forum at www.flaregunforum.com

The other brass flare pistol is I assume, Australian, can you please give the date, maker and serial number for it, and the German Pistol.
