I'm not a fan. The skull looks incorrect and IMO it's a fake.

The date is correct. Concerning the seam I asked my friend for better pics, they might shed light on it.�

I can see a seam,,a little right of usual spot, very thin.. They are very hard to see o the early pattern HRs.
Date correct... Engraving looks pretty good. Skull does look a little weird, maybe some better photos ..
Jan and his friends I think have the record for the most authentic ground dug HRs.. Hope this one turns out O.K.
