This frog was with the bayonet but i don`t like the ss and rzm stamps on the back

Nice, the bayonet's blade has a nice rich color! The frog has some nice markingsbesides the later additions.

Regarding the frog markings, to my recollection I have never seen this particular manufacturer. So far as the RZM and SS stamps, they do look aged. It is possible frogs were purchased commercially by the SS (later they made many of their own in slave labor camps) and subsequently property marked. Such a frog may have only a pair of SS runes to identify it. The marking will be neither "boxed" nor within a circle. However, the unfortunate reality is, because of fakes produced over the past 40 years, nearly all SS markings must be considered spurious until proven otherwise.

BTW, I recently spoke to a friend about your frog markings. He said the diamond shape marking w/SS runes inside is a known, legitimate stamping.

This daimod shape stamp i have also seen on the crossguard of a k-98 bayonet
I always thought it was fake
