Just got this great group from son! Father was on the Air craft carrier Yorktown! He then did some training of pilots!

He was in naval reserve and graduated from college in Cleveland!

He got called up and was on Yorktown on his 1st tour!

He made Lt. Commander!

Got his sword thats named! Watch with initialed on back and dated 1937!

Great wings! All balfour marked!

Have got to get papers and pics! But wante to show what came
now! Will show rest when recieved!

When I hear Yorktown I get a warm fuzzy feeling on its history!

Well just got aviators wallet belonging to this pilot!

It turns out he was on the 2nd Yorktown!

He got there with first corsair combat aircraft snd was involved in Marianas Great Turkey shoot!

And Lete Gulf! Then went on to train pilots!

Truly a great named group and plenty of history!

So far this is whats been recieved!

This group will be put in for sale section!

Wanted to share with collectors items of a special nature
in U.S. naval history!
