Thought y'all might enjoy seeing a Colt that doesn't come along too often - a Model 1900 .38 cal. with sight safety. I had this for many years until meeting a rabid Colt collector (which I'm not) who had a near mint G-41 rifle for trade. Now all I've got are these two crummy pictures.
Description from my data base record says "Pre-1902 Commercial Model 1900 with 2nd model characteristics of front slide serrations; has sight safety; has only April 20, 1897 patent date (most 1902 and later had 2nd patent date of Sept. 9, 1902 on slide); right side of slide has "Automatic Colt, Calibre 38 Rimless Smokeless" - does not say Sporting Model as 1902 & later did. Wood grips; magazine has "Cal. 38, Colt: on floorplate. Excellent bore, but probably 80-85% blue remaining."
WANTED TO REPURCHASE!! Walther pistol Model PP - ac code - Ser. No. 382000P - REWARD FOR INFO ABOUT THIS PISTOL!!
