I know its tedious but how can (if) you remove blade scratches and sharpening marks ????

Lou, That's a tough one. If the scratches are deeper than the crossgraining the only to remove them would be to also remove the crossgraining. However if the scratches are not you can use 2000 or 3000 grit sandpaper and then a fine polish. I've taken some scratches out of the edges of a few blades and you can't even tell. You must be very careful.
