Within the past week, two different Eickhorn marked fighting knives landed at my doorstep.
This first one is an early blade that looks a little like a small version of the KS98 dress bayonet. It has the very early back to back squirrel logo.

The second fighting knife has the 'cof' maker mark.
A couple of years back, I saw one of these at a show, can't remember which one. I passed it by, then went back to try to find it about an hour or so later, but it was gone, gone, gone. I have been kicking myself ever since. But, then this one was offered to my by a good member of GDC and it is in even better shape than the one I passed by.
Enjoy,
John

I always look at these, but have never owned one. Nice examples you have there.

Terry:
I have only wanted Eickhorns, which made the search even more difficult.
But, I want to thank Stingray of this forum for helping me find both of these within a one week period. Thank you, Ivan.

Found on eban is this WWI era fighting knife by Eickhorn.
The blade has been sharpened, like most of these were, and it is in the wrong scabbard for such, but the variation back to back squirrel TM is what go me interested.
For comparison purposes, I show the other back to back squirrel TM that I have on a previously shown knife.

Nice ones John. I like the fake press stud, I have one with a very similarly hilt but it's got an unmarked Bowie style blade. Here's a marked, plated Eickhorn that's fixable as a bayonet.

A couple weeks ago I found these that had been mis packed away years ago. Nothing special,,I just haven't seen them in many years.
