Hello , I have been watching this website for several months with great interest . I am a small belgian collector of the german daggers , and I have in hands an unknown portepee. it seems to be an imperial jäger kirschfanger pportepee , but I am not sure . Could you help me in this identification ?? Thanks a lot for your comments. jean-marie leclercq.

Welcome to the forum.
Although the colors are somewhat difficult to distinguish in your photos, I think this troddel may be from Sachsen.

Your English is fine (...and much better than my French!)
I am presently viewing your photos on a different computer and the colors are clearer. The green appears much darker and, as you mentioned, very possibly is Jaeger.
Hopefully someone else can provide a more definitive answer for you.

Roger , thank you very much for your comments . If this portepee is really a jaeger one , then this is a very rare piece. may other specialist give their opinion ?? jean.
