I dont normally keep uniforms and especially us. But this one I liked. Not named. I have the pants, overseas cap and tie. I looked forever to try to find the reason for the skull on the jump wings but came up with nothing.

Wings would be late war or occupation unauthorized. The skull on the wings was supposed to represent death from above. It is missing a battalion oval. I believe it is a real nice outfit. I would keep it too. Steve

I knew about the death from above. I tried to find out which regiment or company. There is not really much info on american things. I have a few books. But nothing that goes into history or special unit stuff

You usually see some of the unauthorized wings on the 11th AB stuff from the Pacific. There was a combined para/glider one, a cross and skull (from heaven to hell) and some others. Nice uniform!

What is the writing on the inside of the jacket?
And, is the skull and addition to a real set of wings or is it made from scratch. Anything on the back ?
