Hello,
Here is an interesting workplace fire department eagle. It is different in that it is actually named to a particular facility, in this case the North Zucker (sugar) Refinery in the village of Frellstedt in North East Germany.

What makes it most interesting to me is that the place still exists and is still working. Here are the Google Earth photos of this sugar plant and the village that it is just North of.
It is very rare that we can put a face to the relics we collect. In this case not a human face, but a small factory in the country side that had a small fire department during the war years. I wonder how many of these patches still exist? One maybe. Interesting to consider that this one of a kind artifact is worth a pittance when compared to an SS eagle of which millions were made and tens of thousands are on the market.

That is neat research Bill. It looks like they were proud of their sugar refinery and its fire protection.
