Hello collectors,
Well, here it is. Another beautiful day to shoot some pictures. My next subject is my Rich. Plumacher Army. Overall this dagger and scabbard is in good condition. A couple minor gray spots on the blade and a little dinger on the scabbard but a cool maker mark nun the less. I've been making a photographic library of my collection for insurance purposes just in case a thief thinks he can gets past the trip wires, alarm system, my pitbull and my 9mm I'll still have something to show my agent...haha I'm kidding, my dog loves people. I just don't like him to eat more than 3 a day. Enjoy the pics.

That's a fine piece Rich. I like the bird on that crossguard! Did that portepee come with the dagger? It has the length of a luftwaffe portepee but the blue colour of the acorn is new to me. Very interesting.

Once again you show a great dagger by a scarce maker. I look forward to see the pieces that you still have to photograph.

Don't think the knot is blue just patinated silver bullion IMO but wrong length for an army

I'm no expert on these portepee's and figured it might be for a luft with it having the shord cord however it was wrapped around the dagger when purchased.

Boy rich that is a nice one!! Cool to see Plumacher used Pack fittings during the period, I have an initial production Plumacher with slant grip using a Pack scabbard like this but brass based fittings by an unidentified maker. I really like the glossy toned grip and overall patina, and that DARK maker mark is a Dussy!! Congrats again! Kevin.

I noticed right away it was a 3rd model Pack and thought I would get a little grief about it but it was the way I got it so I posted it. It might not be text book but she's a keeper. That's all I can tell you. I love these rare makers.

fine Pl�macher, i�ve the same but with an another eagle...how in the Wittmann book.

Rich certainly for the collector of army daggers by maker mark this is a really tuff maker to find very nice example and nice pictures.
