Hi guys,
as far as I can remember it is my very first post in the bayonet topic.
I am a dagger guy, but now I purchased a bayo what I'd like to share with you.
First of all I would like to say thank you to Jim Wallace, moderator of European Edged Weapons forum who helped me to ship the bayo from the US to Europe.
Please see photos and write me your opinion! Is it good or bad?

I'm also a dagger guy & got into dress bayonets as a sidebar to collecting them. Be careful, they can become as addictive as daggers, maybe worse since they're cheaper & more plentiful! It almost happened with me.
Your Luft Forestry bayonet looks completely original so I wouldn't worry. So far as I know, they haven't reproduced these pieces yet. It would be difficult to since the hilt & blade assembly is one piece & very well made. One warning though, be careful if removing the grip bolts, I've heard plenty of stories of bolts breaking. Very nice piece, congrats!

Billy they have reproduced these, sold over here by worldwide arms some years back
